For the last 17 years Jerry Bischoff has successfully defended persons facing criminal charges including first degree murder, battery, robbery, armed violence, weapons offenses, narcotics offenses, fraud, conspiracy, burglary, and theft. Mr. Bischoff has tried cases throughout Chicago in both state and federal court. He has also written and argued numerous appeals in the First and Second District of the State of Illinois. As a natural outgrowth of his criminal practice the Law Office of Jerry Bischoff litigates civil rights cases stemming from abusive government practices. Mr. Bischoff also represents persons seriously injured or killed in accidents due to negligence and products liability and he has negotiated several large settlements for his clients.
Mr. Bischoff is a 1986 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. He spent seven years as a Cook County prosecutor before going into private practice. He prides himself on providing an honest evaluation of his clients' cases, a personal touch and the ability to communicate with the client to obtain the best possible result.
